Ausgangssituation

We are seeking a seasoned Interim Manager to lead and execute a strategic warehouse relocation project (gn).

This role is critical to ensuring operational continuity, minimizing disruption, and optimizing logistics performance during the transition.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on leadership, deep logistics expertise, and a proven track record in managing complex relocations across multiple stakeholders and

geographies.

Ihre Kernaufgaben

- Project Leadership: Lead end-to-end planning and execution of warehouse relocation, including feasibility studies, site preparation, stakeholder coordination, and timeline management

- Operational Oversight: Maintain seamless operations during transition—covering inbound, storage, picking, and shipping. Ensure KPI tracking (e.g., service rate, inventory turnover, error rate)

- Team Management: Supervise and restructure logistics teams as needed, provide coaching and performance management to ensure alignment with relocation goals

- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to local and international regulations,  lead risk mitigation strategies and business continuity planning

- Systems & Technology: Oversee WMS transition and integration (e.g., Blue Yonder, SAP). Ensure smooth transfer of customizations and data integrity

- Budget & Vendor Coordination: Manage relocation budgets, work closely with the project team of 3PL Required Qualifications

Ihr Profil

- Minimum 8 years of experience in warehouse operations and logistics, with at least 3

years in relocation of warehouses or transformation projects (recommendation from

min 2 customers required)

- Background in FMCG, retail, or manufacturing sectors is a big plus

- Familiarity with customs warehouse operations and international logistics

- Experience in managing transitions from 3PL to in-house operations

- Strong leadership in high-pressure environments and change management

- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Blue Yonder), Lean methodologies, and performance analytics

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Project Management certification required

- Fluent in English; Czech language is a benefit here
